Global staffing giant The Adecco Group names new chief

Global staffing giant The Adecco Group said Tuesday that it named Klaus J. Jacobs chairman and chief executive officer, replacing Jerome Caille. Adecco (NYSE: ADO), which is based in Switzerland and has its U.S. operations in Melville, also said board member Jurgen Dormann had been named vice chairman.

Philippe Foriel-Destezet resigned as co-chairman of Adecco, but remains a member of the board. The firm said the changes were decided by Adecco's board at a meeting in Zurich on Nov. 2.
