CA Inc. delays filing earnings report again
Long Island Business News, Aug 11, 2006 by Jean Paul Vellotti
CA Inc. hit the snooze button once again, this time announcing a delay in filing their first quarter 2007 earnings report with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
CA said it expects to file the report after market close on Monday, which coincides with their anticipated first quarter earnings call scheduled for 5 p.m.
The company once again cited delays due to workload demands from an investigation into its stock options program.
CA also said in the filing that revenue for the fiscal quarter ending June 30, 2006 is expected to be greater than a year before due to an increase in subscriptions and professional services. Expenses will also be expected to be higher, due to the increased revenue, CA said.
In morning trading, shares of CA (NYSE: CA) were down less than 1 percent to $21.79.
