Sir Speedy acquires similar company in Williston Park

Long Island Business News, Aug 22, 2006 by Henry E. Powderly II

Sir Speedy of Westbury, a commercial printing and copying company, said Tuesday it has acquired a similar company in Williston Park.

Sir Speedy of Westbury will take over TG Advertising and Printing, which has operated in Williston Park for 20 years. TG, which is run by Bill Gullo, also specializes in commercial printing.

Monetary terms of the deal were not released.

Evan Bloom, co-owner of Sir Speedy of Westbury, said in a statement that Gullo will join the Sir Speedy staff as an account manager.

Bloom added that Sir Speedy uses digital technology, something TG does not, and therefore will be able to provide digital services to TG's customers.

Sir Speedy of Westbury is a franchise of Mission Viejo, Calif.- based Sir Speedy Inc., a subsidiary of holding company Franchise Services Inc., also based in Mission Viejo.
