Long Island Schools Announce Staffing Changes: August 24, 2007

Old Westbury-based Empire State College has selected La'Nette Cooper as its new dean. She previously served as associate dean in the School of Education and Professional Studies and Graduate Division of Eastern Connecticut State University. Cooper's responsibilities will include enrollment management, budget development, faculty evaluation and supervision of all center personnel.
Bellmore resident James H. Hunderfund was appointed superintendent of Malverne schools. Hunderfund is a former superintendent of Commack Public Schools.
