> South Nassau Communities Hospital of Oceanside has appointed Leester D. Wu associate director of the department of radiation oncology. A specialist in intensity modulated radiation therapy, image guided radiation therapy, prostate brachytherapy and stereotactic radiosurgery with the Gamma Knife, Wu previously was co- chief resident of radiation oncology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
