JAMES R. BLANEY
Mr. Blaney, 77, died Feb. 9, 2000, at a local hospital. He was an eligibility technician for El Paso County and served in the Navy during World War II.
Mr. Blaney was born March 24, 1922, in Baltimore to Edward and Emily (Franklin) Blaney, who are deceased. He was married Nov. 16, 1959, to Mary Louise Horetsky, who is deceased.
He is survived by a brother, Edward F.; an uncle, Benjamin Franklin; and a nephew, Robert.
A memorial Mass will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Cathedral, 22 W. Kiowa St. Inurnment will be private. Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608, is handling arrangements.

Mr. Proctor, 82, died May 20, 2000, at a local hospital. He worked in civil service at the Air Force Academy for 10 years. He retired from the Army after 20 years of service. He served in World War II and in the Korean War.
Mr. Proctor was born July 26, 1917, in Fort Scott, Kan., to Arthur W. and Lillie Mae (Chambers) Proctor, who are deceased. He was married Aug. 28, 1948, to Emmy Elise Hebacker.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Homer William Jr., Garey and Jerry; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel, 6630 S. U.S. Highway 85/87, Fountain, 390- 4906. Family has chosen cremation.

MARY TOBIN
Mary, 83, died May 20, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She worked at Colorado College in Colorado Springs for 10 years.
Mary was born July 16, 1916, in La Veta.
She is survived by two daughters, June McGuire and Mary Ann Perry; two brothers, Louie Tobin and Paul RedCloud; two sisters, Helen Dorrance and Cora Romero; five grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren.
Family has chosen cremation. Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Services, 3825 Airport Road, 596-7991, is handling arrangements.

BERNARD CALVIN PLETCHER
Mr. Pletcher, 88, died May 19, 2000, at a local care center. He retired as a machine shop inspector from Goodyear Aerospace Corp.
Mr. Pletcher was born Sept. 9, 1911, in Crooksville, Ohio, to Ira C. and Mary A. (Bailie) Pletcher, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 31, 1936, to Esther L. Cable.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Gerald R. and Bernard Philip; and two grandchildren, Kevin L. Pletcher and Melissa R. Kellett.
No services are planned. A private inurnment will be at Black Oak Cemetery, Deavertown, Ohio. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597, is handling local arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the giver's choice.
C. LOUISE ARELLANO
Louise, 49, died May 19, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a child care provider.
Louise was born July 13, 1950, in Center to Adelmo and Lucy Arellano. Her father is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Alberto Sanchez; and her mother.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Services, 3825 Airport Road, 596-7991. A rosary will be at 6 p.m. today at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Chapel. Inurnment is pending.
DAVID M. PAYNTER
Mr. Paynter, 67, died May 17, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He worked at KCME Radio and served in the Navy.
Mr. Paynter was born Sept. 29, 1932, in Minneapolis to Moncure Paynter and Mabel Christie. His father is deceased.
He is survived by a son, Dan; a daughter, Lynne VonGries; his mother; a sister, Judy Wolf; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at a later date. Colorado Springs Mortuary and Cremation Services, 3475 Astrozon Court, 392-4144, is handling arrangements.
DR. JACQUELINE (LYNCH) HOWELL, Ed.D.
Dr. Howell, 59, died May 21, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was retired owner and director of the Woodland Hills Montessori School.
Dr. Howell was born Nov. 24, 1940, in Huntington, W.Va., to Lester Lynch and Pearl Asbury. Her father is deceased. She was married June 7, 1969, to Dr. Robert J. Howell, Ed. D.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Shane M.; a daughter Erin S. of Colorado Springs; and her mother.
A private memorial service will be held. The Monarch Society, 1534 Pearl St., Denver, (303) 837-8712, is handling cremation. Ashes will be scattered at sea.

ROBIN J. NADELEN
Robin, 40, died May 22, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a collections trainer for Fleet Credit Card Services.
Robin was born April 10, 1960, in Watertown, N.Y., to Robert and Arlene Nadelen.
She is survived by her domestic partner of 12 years, Bettina L. Miller; her parents; and two brothers, Martin and Lon.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922.
