DONALD VAIL

Mr. Vail, 73, died Aug. 25, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He was an architect.

Mr. Vail was born March 6, 1927, in Warwick, N.Y. He was married May 28, 1981, to Margaret Joyce "Maggie" Ligon, who is deceased.

He is survived by three stepsons, Christopher "Chris" Mitguard, Matthew "Matt" Mitguard and Jonathan "Jon" Mitguard; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, with a reception to follow, at All Souls Unitarian Church, 730 N. Tejon St. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Services, 3407 N. El Paso St., 520-1817, is handling arrangements.

EVELYN C. JONES

Mrs. Jones, 87, died Aug. 26, 2000, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a registered nurse and homemaker.

Mrs. Jones was born Sept. 3, 1912, in Patriot, Ind., to John and Irene (Stefien) Schroeder, who are deceased. She was married Aug. 29, 1936, to John W. Jones, who is deceased.

She is survived by two sons, Donn and Glenn; a daughter, Barbara Laurora; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., 475-8303. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver.

Memorial contributions may be made to Deacons Fund, First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Bijou St., Colorado Springs 80903.

MARY JUNE PARKER

Mrs. Parker, 78, died Aug. 27, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was an elementary and Spanish teacher at the Evangelical Christian Academy in Colorado Springs.

Mrs. Parker was born July 23, 1922, in Minot, N.D., to Clyde and Ruth (White) Knauss, who are deceased. She was married Jan. 25, 1965, to William C. "Bill" Parker.

She is survived by her husband; and a daughter, Ardith Keef. She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Eberhardt.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Austin Bluffs Evangelical Free Church, 3435 Maizeland Road. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Services, 3407 N. El Paso St., 520-1817, is handling arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the missionary of the giver's choice.

KERMIT F. DUNKLEY

Mr. Dunkley, 73, died Aug. 17, 2000, at a local hospital. He served in the Army for two years during World War II and was retired as an auto insurance adjuster from MIC.

Mr. Dunkley was born Feb. 9, 1927, in Cottonwood Falls, Kan., to Frank Dunkley and Elizabeth Penny, who are deceased. He was married Aug. 9, 1961, to Muriel F. Clarke.

He is survived by his wife; a son, James; a sister, Mary Nichols; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Manitou Springs Congregational Church, 103 Pawnee Ave., Manitou Springs. Inurnment will be private. Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Ave., 634-8831, is handling arrangements.
