RUTH DEA SNYDER

Mrs. Snyder, 80, died Sept. 5, 2000, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker. She was affiliated with Catholic Daughters of America No. 513 and an auxiliary member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and the BPOE Wives Bridge Club.

Mrs. Snyder was born July 23, 1920, in Colorado Springs, to Michael M. and Rachel (Hillis) Dea, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 8, 1942, to John L. Snyder, who is deceased.

She is survived by three sons, Mark, Richard and David; three daughters, Patricia Strauch, Jeannie Snyder and Catherine Stemple; three sisters, Sister Michael Mary Dea, Martha Ellen McCarthy and Mary Kay McKernan; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Chris; a brother, William Dea; and two sisters, Dorothy Woods and Margaret Dea.

A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3122 Poinsetta Drive. Her body was donated to the State Anatomical Board. Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632- 7608, is handling arrangements.

BRENETTE Y. WASHINGTON

Mrs. Washington, 89, died Sept. 5, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Washington was born Aug. 7, 1911, in Crockett, Texas, to David K. Wheeler and Mary Lou Simon, who are deceased. She was married Dec. 25, 1939, to Lucius L. Washington, who is deceased.

She is survived by two sons, David K. Washington and Dr. Reginald L. Washington; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., 475-8303. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 N. Cascade Ave. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

DOC WOODROW PHILLIPS JR.

Mr. Phillips, 58, died Sept. 6, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He was a material handling salesman for 15 years at L.G. Rathbun in Denver.

Mr. Phillips was born March 30, 1942, in Harvey, Ill., to Doc Woodrow Phillips Sr. and Martha Louise Criss, who are deceased. He was married Feb. 24, 1973, to Kristin Adele Metz.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Erick Christopher; his mother- in-law, Florence Metz; two nieces, Traci Margullin and Jennifer Frei; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Karen.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., 475-8303. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

CLARENCE C. HUNTER JR.

Mr. Hunter, 76, died Sept. 6, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He was a retired fireman and totempole carver. He served in the Army for two years during World War II.

Mr. Hunter was born May 4, 1924, in Rayland, Ohio, to Clarence C. and Anna Belle (Cooper) Hunter, who are deceased. He was married June 24, 1950, to Virginia Josephine Ruffolo.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Jeffrey Robert and Jack Louis; three daughters, Janine Hunter, Aleta Hunter and Allison Hunter-Greene; a sister, Dorothy Risinger; a grandson, Austin; and a granddaughter, Riley. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert; and two sisters, Marion Briggs and Ruth Renn.

Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922, is handling arrangements.

GAIL ANNETTE SUHLER

Mrs. Suhler, 49, died Sept. 5, 2000, at a local hospital. She was a day care provider and teacher.

Mrs. Suhler was born Sept. 23, 1950, in Pueblo, to Vernon and Margaret (Rose) Horn, who are deceased. She was married May 15, 1982, to Bryan Suhler.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Ben D.; a brother, Keith A. Horn; and a sister, Paula D. Brown.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Circle Drive Baptist Church, 801 N. Circle Drive. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road.

CORAZON E. MARMOLEJO

Mrs. Marmolejo, 80, died Sept. 6, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Marmolejo was born May 12, 1920, in Bamban, Tarlac, Philippines, to Sebastian and Macaria (Salcedo) Evangelista, who are deceased. She was married May 12, 1938, to Alfredo Marmolejo, who is deceased.
