The Colorado Avalanche will have four starters when the NHL All- Star Game takes place Feb. 4 at Denver's Pepsi Center.

In fan voting that was announced Saturday, four Avs and two former Avs (Ranger Theo Fleury and Hurricane Sandis Ozolinsh) were named starters on the teams.

On the North American team, goaltender Patrick Roy, defenseman Ray Bourque and center Joe Sakic will start. Peter Forsberg will be center for the World team.

This is the first time since the 1992 Pittsburgh Penguins (Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Kevin Stevens, Paul Coffey) that one team has had four All-Star starters.

It will be Bourque's 19th All-Star Game, second to Gordie Howe's 23. Sakic will be making his first start in 10 years.
