The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners has announced that all county offices will be closed today. Also, all client services at the El Paso County Department of Health and Environment have suspended operations. As of press time, county offices are scheduled to reopen Wednesday.
"Following Lewis and Clark," presentation and meeting of the Sierra Club Pikes Peak Group, originally scheduled for 7 p.m. today, at United Methodist Church, 420 N. Nevada Ave.
MCI at Tiffany Square has been closed for the day.
All air traffic into and out of DIA and the Colorado Springs Airport has been grounded.

The Tony Bennett and k.d. lang concert at Fiddler's Green in Denver tonight has been postponed.
Sunday night's Emmy Awards have been postponed.
The City of Fountain offices have closed for the day and tonight's 7 p.m. City Council meeting will be rescheduled. City offices will resume normal operations on Wednesday.
Memorial Hospital HealthLink's Aromatherapy class, originally scheduled for 8:30 p.m. today, has been canceled; 444-2273.
STATEWIDE CANCELLATIONS
The following government offices, businesses closed or increased security in the wake of apparent terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C.:
State Capitol, closed. Public access to building was shut, and metal detectors were set up. All meetings were canceled.
Federal courthouse in downtown Denver closed.
U.S. Customs House across from the courthouse evacuated.
All Arapahoe County offices except law enforcement closed.
Qwest Communications headquarters in downtown Denver closed, employees sent home.
The World Trade Center in downtown Denver was closed.
Several downtown Denver office buildings were locked and only people with security-card access were allowed in.
Colorado State University and The University of Colorado at Boulder increased security, but continued classes.
The Denver Water Board closed roads to the dam in Dillon and the Green Mountain Reservoir near Kremmling.
Denver-area shopping malls, including Park Meadows and Cherry Creek, were closed.
The Pepsi Center in downtown Denver canceled events.
Denver International Airport and others across the state were closed after the Federal Aviation Administration canceled flights.
Most of the 5,000 employees at the former Rocky Flats nuclear weapons plant northwest of Denver were sent home. Security was heightened and all shipments of waste and nuclear material were halted.
The Denver Federal Center remained open, although a handful of the 30 agencies sent employees home. Security was increased.
Security was increased at all military bases.

Mets at Pittsburgh, Montreal at Florida, Philadelphia at Atlanta, Cincinnati at Chicago Cubs, San Francisco at Houston, St. Louis at Milwaukee, Colorado at Arizona, Los Angeles at San Diego).
All minor league baseball games scheduled for today.
College
Women's volleyball match between Penn State and Youngstown State scheduled for tonight.
Golf
PGA Tour canceled Thursday's starts of the World Golf Championship and two other tournaments.
Hockey
Toronto Maple Leafs postponed trip to training camp in Newfoundland. Germany's Nuremberg Ice Tigers, which has three Americans, voted against playing a game today.
Soccer
U.S. Women's Cup doubleheader scheduled for today, U.S. vs. Japan, Germany vs. China. Four Major League Soccer games scheduled for Wednesday (Dallas at D.C. United, Miami at New York-New Jersey, Columbus at Colorado and San Jose at the Los Angeles Galaxy).
