Aviation shop opens

Don England has opened Aviation Heritage Collectibles at 2513 W. Colorado Ave. The store offers hand-carved and decorated mahogany commercial and military aircraft display models, limited edition diecast aircraft replicas, T-shirts, posters, prints, books and a variety of airline memorabilia. Ent sponsors JA program

Ent Federal Credit Union is sponsoring Junior Achievement's Personal Economics program designed to teach financial basics to middle school students. The curriculum will be provided to 40 eighth- and ninth-grade classes. Most of the material will be taught by credit union employees during weekly one-hour classes.

Pizza for blood donors

The local franchise group of Domino's Pizza will again partner with Memorial Hospital Blood Bank by providing free pizza for volunteers and donors at 2002 blood drives. This is the second year that Domino's has agreed to participate.

Skyline providing signs

Skyline Products, a Colorado Springs provider of dynamic message sign solutions, has been selected to supply customizable blank-out message signs for the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnel west of Denver.

The signs will replace neon signs and will provide real-time advisories with directional arrows to overheight vehicles on the approach to the tunnel.

Westside vets expand

Westside Animal Hospital, 1603 W. Colorado Ave., has remodeled and expanded. The addition includes a state-of-the-art surgical and treatment facility. There also is a new client reception lobby with separate dog and cat waiting areas.

FishTrax relocates

FishTrax, an educational support-service program and internship provider, has moved into space at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, 2306 E. Pikes Peak Ave. FishTrax primarily provides courses and seminars for entry-level professionals in technical industries. Program director Victoria Stone may be reached at 277-7274.
