CLOVIS LEE LIVINGSTON

Mr. Clovis Lee Livingston, born October 13, 1910 in Oolitic, Indiana, passed away May 8, 2002, after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his loving first wife, Irene Livingston and sister Olive Hutton. Clovis was a Veteran of World War II where he proudly served in the Navy Sea Bee's. He retired from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO, after many years of service. He was a wonderful person, an avid sportsman and a staunch "Buffs" fan. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Relda Iona Livingston, daughter, Bonnie Hurst, her children and grandson. He is also survived by his two sons, Robert G. (Lee Ann) Livingston, Richard L. (Avis) Livingston, brother, Robert M. Livingston, sister, Eva Spires, stepchildren, Edward Woods and Betty Blair, their children and grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2-6pm on Friday, May 10, at Swan Law. A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00am Saturday, May 11, at Mountain View Cemetery in Boulder, CO.

ROY DEAN SEANEY

Roy Dean Seaney, 72, died peacefully at home, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease on May 6, 2002. He was born June 27, 1929 in Silverton Texas to Elma & Naomi @eaney. Roy married Charlene Kidwell on December 11, 1955 in Alamogordo NM. He is survived by his wife, three sons Perry Daniel, Purcell, OK; Charles David, Burlington, CO; Jonathan Duff (Sandra), Canon City, CO; one sister Joye (Bill) McDaniel, Ft. Worth, TX and grandchildren Tyler, Aaron, Cassandra, and Kyser. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Perry Don, and his son Michael.

Roy grew up during the great depression in West Texas, his family moved to California for one year during the "Dust Bowl "then returned to West Texas. He graduated from Eastern N.M. University in Portales N.M. and attended Southwestern Seminary in Texas. He was an ordained Southern Baptist Minister. Roy pastored churches in Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Colorado until 1966 when he began his educational career. He received his masters degree in school administration from Western State College in 1972. He worked as an educator/administrator in Widefield School District 3 in Colorado Springs until his medical retirement in 1986.

Roy spent his life and career serving the Lord and others. He ministered to children in a variety of roles as a pastor, teacher, school administrator, and coach of youth football, baseball, and wrestling. He was past president of Widefield Riders, Pikes Peak Little Britches, and Colorado Kids Wrestling. He served as Title I & Title IX director in Widefield. Roy also served as member of the Park & Recreation board for 8 years and was a two term member of the school board in Widefield School District 3. He was an avid sportsman who taught his sons to compete in a variety of sports. He shared his love of horsemanship with his boys by actively participating in riding events and rodeos. Roy sustained a life-long faith in God which he shared with his wife, children, friends, and church family. He was blessed with intelligence, a positive attitude, a warm sense of humor, and a love of learning which endeared him to others. He loved and supported his sons into adulthood as he traveled throughout the country in support of their activities. In later years he enjoyed traveling to school events to watch his grandchildren.
