Phyllis Lazear
Phyllis Lazear passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2002. Surviving are husband, George; sons, David and John; daughter, Barbara Morrison; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Phyllis was a home worker for Simpich Character Dolls for eighteen years.
Donations in her memory may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Colorado Springs.
Trisha M. Henry
Trisha Maria Henry passed away unexpectedly July 3, 2002. She worked as a medical staff assistant at Premier Orthopedics. Trisha is survived by her loving boyfriend, Brad Wikoff; her mom and dad, Beverly and Hal Little; her father, Joe Henry and his wife, Rhonda; brothers, Tyson and Halston; and sisters, Sari, Laurin, Haeleigh, and Andrea. She is also survived by her grandmother Virginia Meadows, Grandparents Harold and Arlene Little, plus many family members and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Mitchell and Audrey Dieken and her grandfather Joseph A. Henry.
Visitation will be at the Shrine of Remembrance from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9th. Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10th at the Shrine of Remembrance.
Trisha is loved dearly and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Dr. James Brookbank Fisher
Dr. James Brookbank Fisher, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2002. He was born February 15, 1909 in Kansas City, MO to Frances (Brookbank) and James P. Fisher.
He was raised in Bartlesville, OK and graduated from the University of Kansas Medical School in 1937. He married Winifred Royal Fisher in 1937 and moved to Wichita, KS.
During World War II, he joined and served in the 77th Evacuation Hospital of the U.S. Army from 1942-1945 in North Africa and Europe. Returning to Wichita, he was one of nine founding partners of the Wichita Clinic where he practiced medicine until 1985. He was a past president of the Kansas Blue Cross/Blue Shield; recipient of the Delp Award from the University of Kansas Medical School; a Fellow in the American College of Physicians; and a Board Certified Gastroenterologist. He was awarded the Silver Beaver by the Boy Scouts of America and was a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies in Wichita. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Winifred, in 1997 and by his brother Robert P. Fisher. He is survived by his sister Ruth Putnam of Groton, VT and his brothers William of Bartlesville, OK and David of Boulder, CO; by his three sons, Richard of Laurel, MD, Alan of Colorado Springs, and Thomas of Santa Cruz, CA; by his two grandchildren Matthew Fisher of Weslaco, TX and Cara Fisher of Santa Cruz, CA; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at the Medalion Chapel, 10th floor, 1719 East Bijou with Reverend Leonard Wecks presiding.
Veronica Madeline Weiss
Veronica Madeline Weiss, born on June 15, 1959, peacefully went to be with our Lord on July 3, 2002. She had been under Pikes Peak Hospice Care since January.
Veronica leaves behind her loving husband, Russell; son, Jeremiah: and daughters, Danielle and Alicia. She was preceded in death by a son, Zachariah.
Veronica was born to Lucy and Clovis Vigil of Colorado Springs. Veronica also leaves behind her sisters, Patricia Crockett and Loretta Sifuentes of Colorado Springs; her brothers, Richard Archuleta, Tony and John Vigil, also of Colorado Springs, and Danny Vigil of Lakewood, also 10 nieces, 6 nephews, 3 great nieces, and 4 great nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 7, at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs.
The visitation time will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Services will be Monday, July 8th at 10:00 a.m., at Evergreen Funeral Home. Interment will be immediately following, at Peyton Cemetery in Peyton CO.
Rolland "Rollie" C. Neff
Rolland "Rollie" C. Neff was born in Bern, Kansas on October 23, 1917 to Willard and Laura (Flower) Neff. He left this life on July 5, 2002.
He was married on April 5, 1939 to Jean E. Livingston who preceded him in death in May 1991. Mr. Neff worked for Meadow Gold Dairy for 39 years.
During his retirement he enjoyed fishing, camping, tinkering in his garage and caring for his home. His hobby of refurbishing and selling lawn mowers and equipment allowed him to carry on his career as a salesman. He loved life and had an active lifestyle until his illness.
Rollie is also preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and his only son Rolland "Rollie" L. Neff. Daughters Deanna "Dee" Chavez of Colorado Springs, Barbara Vaughan and husband Jim of Woodland Park, one sister, two brothers, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren survive him. Dad was a devoted Father and friend and will be greatly missed by all that loved him.
Visitation is Monday, July 8th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services are Tuesday, July 9th at 12:00 p.m. at the Swan-Law Cascade Chapel.
