HOLLY A MORENO
Holly A. Moreno of Colorado Springs, Colorado, died July 17, 2002 at Penrose Hospital.
Holly was born February 8, 1963 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Holly is survived by her two parents, William C. Garrison and V. Lee Garrison, both of Colorado Springs.
Holly was married February 16, 1991 to Robert J. Moreno. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Katherine Lee and Megan Elizabeth, all of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by her sister Doralynn Kennedy of Colorado Springs.
She touched everyone's hearts, including her six uncles, Buck Kennedy, Tom Kennedy, Richard Kennedy, Jack Kennedy, Steve Kennedy, Patrick Kennedy and their families. She was a very special person who will never be forgotten.

KENNETH E. BYRD
Kenneth E. Byrd, 82, died July 16, 2002. Ken was born June 6, 1920 in Polo, Illinois to Ernest and Reba (Clark) Byrd, both deceased. He married Lorna (Krause) Byrd March 6, 1970.
Ken enlisted in the Army Air Corps December 6, 1939, and graduated as a Staff Sergeant Pilot September 6,1942. As a commissioned officer, he served in the China-Burma-India Campaign flying the Hump. He also served in Japan and Morocco with two tours of duty in the Philippines. Ken was a Mosquito pilot during the Korean War and a communications officer in the missile warning wing, Thule, Greenland; at SAC Hq., Offutt AFB, Nebraska; and with the Titan II Missile Complex, Davis Monthan AFB, Arizona. He retired August 1, 1967.
Ken is survived by his wife, Lorna; his daughter Pamela Rachjaibun; three grandchildren, Kimberly (Eric) Gardner, Marissa (James) Deemer, and Deric(Dawn) Rachjaibun; three great- grandchildren, Sarah and Kayla Gardner and Adam Deemer. He is also survived by his sister La Vonne Frey and brothers Cecil (Verne) Byrd and Robert (Shirley) Byrd. Ken was preceded in death by his first wife Opal (Shutt) Byrd and brothers Melvin and Emerson Byrd.
Services are private.
RALPH V. HAJET
Ralph V. Hajet, 59, a 30 year resident of Colorado Springs, died July 17, 2002.
He was born on March 12, 1943 in Chicago, IL, to Vincent & Ruth (Lange) Hajet. He was a painter by trade, worked with Import Auto in COS for 30 years and in the past recent years was with Creative Painting and Decorating. He served 4 years in the Air Force.
He is survived by his mother; a companion, Nancy Dunleavy; a daughter, Sonja; a granddaughter, Meriah, and a sister, Lora.
A memorial service will be held on Sat., July 20, at 2:00 p.m. at Cappadona's Family Service Center, 3133 N. El Paso St. (one block north of Fillmore).
Memorial contributions will be announced at the service.
