Mr. and Mrs. Ronald H. Sells of Highlands Ranch are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth, to David Jonathan Weaver, son of Dave and Nancy Weaver of Simla.
Amy is a graduate of Colorado State University. She is employed in Fort Collins at Ridgewood Day School. David attended Fort Lewis College and Colorado State University. He is employed in Fort Collins at Dave Andrews Maintenance Service and Home Depot.
The wedding will take place on August 4, 11:00 a.m. in Fort Collins at the Oval on the campus of Colorado State University.
ALTHOFF - NOLEEN
Eileen Althoff and Tom Althoff of Colorado Springs, CO. are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Marjorie Althoff to Kevin Noleen, son of John and Maddi Noleen of Colorado Springs, CO.
Marjorie is a graduate of Saint Mary's High School and the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She is the Marketing Specialist for Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, UT.
Kevin is a graduate of Air Academy High School and is pursuing a degree in Geography from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
The engaged couple reside in beautiful Park City, UT.
A June, 2003 wedding is planned at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church in Hilton Head Island, SC.
CALDERON - PELZ
Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Calderon of Bogota, Colombia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Maria del Pilar to Anthony Ayers Pelz, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Pelz of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
An October, 2002 wedding in Bogota, Colombia is planned.
Pilar graduated from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogota with a degree in Communications/ Journalism, receiving her master's degree in Sales/ Marketing from Directores School. Prior to moving to the U.S., she was employed in the telecommunications industry.
Tony graduated from the Fountain Valley School in Colorado Springs and from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. with a degree in Political Science. Tony is employed with an investment bank in New York City.
The couple plans to reside in New York City.
AUSMUS
Richard and Laura Ausmus were married July 27, 1952 at Winona, Kansas.
They moved to Colorado Springs in 1960. They retired from Richard Ausmus Hay Sales. They have three sons, Brad, Rod and Rick of Colorado Springs; and one daughter Marilyn Ochs of Russell Springs, Kansas.
They have fifteen grandchildren.
On August 10th, 2002, their children and grandchildren will honor them with a dinner for family and friends.
MONTGOMERY
50TH ANNIVERSARY
CELEBRATION
Richard and Barbara Montgomery celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 17, 2002. They were married July 17, 1952. Both are Colorado Springs high school alumni.
A dinner celebration was held at The Steaksmith with daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren and Richard's brother.
CRISWELL - SULLIVAN
Kristen L. Criswell and Sean E. Sullivan were married on February 9, 2002 at First Christian Church in Colorado Springs. The Rev. G.M. Mick McHarg officiated.
Kristen is the daughter of Lt. Col. (Ret.) and Mrs. Robert L. Criswell of Colorado Springs.
Sean is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry W. Sullivan of Aurora.
Honor attendants were Mrs. Karla Nordstrom of Colorado Springs and Mr. David Lane of Parker.
After a honeymoon to Disney World and a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas, the newlyweds reside in Broomfield, Colorado.
FARRAND - BERNARDIN
Mr. and Mrs. Wilton W. Cogswell, III of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Mr. Ted L. Farrand of Colorado Springs, Colorado, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Shannon Cathleen Farrand, to Mr. Thomas Lloyd Bernardin, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Bernardin, Sr. of New York, New York. An October wedding is planned.
Miss Farrand is a graduate of Cheyenne Mountain High School and was graduated from New York University, College of Arts and Sciences. She is the Coordinator of Emergency Medicine Research for Bellevue Hospital in New York City, and is pursuing a medical education.
Mr. Bernardin is a graduate of Cranbrook High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and was graduated from New York University, Stern School of Business. He is an Associate Consultant with Peterson Consulting in New York City.
FOSTER-KEEBAUGH
Alanna Wright-Jones, Graham Jones and David Foster of Colorado Springs are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alyssa, to Michael Keebaugh, son of Bill and Jeanne Binggeli of Strongsville, Ohio, and Mike and Maureen Keebaugh of Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
Alyssa is a graduate of Air Academy High School and the University of Kansas and is the Regional Sales Manager for Dash Designs, Inc. in Phoenix.
Mike is a graduate of Baker University and is employed by The Plastics Group in Phoenix.
Alyssa and Mike will be married on October 20, 2002 on The Fairway House Lawn at Grayhawk Golf Club, Scottsdale, Arizona.
JENT 50TH ANNIVERSARY
Bob and Carolyn Jent of Colorado Springs will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on August 8th, 2002, with a dinner with local family and a later reunion in Bellevue, WA., with their children and grandchildren.
