PEGGY JANE GEDDES

Peggy Jane Geddes, age 76, of Surfside Beach, SC, died Thursday, October 17, 2002 in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Born June 11, 1926 in London, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of Harold and Jean Braunton Fisher. Mrs. Geddes dedicated her life to the people she loved. She enjoyed the company of many good friends, and had earned a reputation as a strong, competitive bridge player.

Surviving are her husband, John Murray Geddes; son John S. Geddes and wife Nell of Aurora, Canada; daughter, Jane Grant and husband Jim of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada; grandchildren, Jen Geddes, Carrie Geddes, Amy Grant and Ashlie Grant and sister, Jean Anne Matheson of London, Ontario, Canada.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2002 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Murrells Inlet, SC.

DOLORES GRANT

Dolores Grant of Colorado Springs, passed away on October 17, 2002 at IHS- Cheyenne Mountain Nursing Home of Colorado Springs, at the age of 83.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 26, 2002 at 10:00 a.m., at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Paonia, CO, with James Gall officiating.

Dolores was a registered nurse at the Colorado Springs Medical Center for over 30 years.

She was born on October 11, 1919 to Earl Chapman and Blanche (Moreland) Chapman, in Bethune, CO, where she spent her childhood. She graduated from Bethune High School in 1937, and from Beth-el School of Nursing, in Colorado Springs, in 1940.

Dolores married Robert H. Grant on November 29, 1940, in Colorado Springs. He passed away on March 6, 1980.

She was a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House in Colorado Springs, and was a member of the Beth-el Alumni Association.

She is survived by her son, Don (Marsha) Grant of Steamboat Springs, CO; daughter Karen Tucker of Estes Park, CO; brother Dean (Leona) Chapman of Cedaredge, CO; sister Marge (Neil) Springer of Grand Junction, CO; sisters-in-law Margaret Chapman of Austin CO, and Betty Chapman of Paonia, CO. She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers, Don, Dale and Vernon.

Born Jan. 10, 1915. Died Oct. 17, 2002.

Heavy equipment operator, lifelong Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife, Frances Evelyn (Ford); and two sons, Richard L. and Albert. Services, 2 p.m., Tuesday, Shrine of Remembrance, "America the Beautiful," Chapel of Roses. Inurnment, Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum.

THERESA A. FRAUD

Born Nov. 12, 1911. Died Oct. 15, 2002.

Born Oct. 12, 1916. Died Oct. 17, 2002.
