ASHER

Loyd and Velda celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on November 23, 2002 with a gala celebration at the Kissing Camels Country Club. They were married in Almena, Kansas on November 23, 1952. Both enjoyed the company of family and friends at their special anniversary party with dinner and dancing. They are retired teachers actively involved with their eight grandchildren, the Broadmoor Community Church and Loyd's job selling mountain property with Land Properties.

GARRETT - MCBREARTY

Mr. and Mrs. Otha Garrett are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Regina Kay to Major Joseph Michael McBrearty, Jr. The couple is planning to wed on January 18, 2003 at Trinity Baptist Church in Cordova, Tennessee. Joe is the son of Joseph and Barbara McBrearty of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Regina is currently employed as the Manager of Houston Levee Apartments in Cordova. Joe is a pilot for American Airlines and the United States Air Force Reserves.

TONK - DAVIS

David and Donna Tonk of Monument are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Renee Tonk, to Kevin Anthony Davis, son of Gary and Carol Davis, also of Monument. An August wedding is planned.

MORGAN - DANKESREITER

Sarah Noel Morgan and Tommy Joe Dankesreiter were married at 2:00 p.m. on October 19, 2002, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muenster, Texas. A dinner and dance reception, hosted by the couple and their parents, was held immediately after the ceremony.

Daughter of Tom and Debby Morgan of Colorado Springs, CO., the bride is a 1995 graduate of Midland Lee High School in Midland, TX. She is a 2000 graduate of Texas Tech University with a Chemical Engineering degree, and is employed as a Process Engineer by X-Fab Texas, Inc., in Lubbock, Texas.

The groom is the son of Tom and Rosemary Dankesreiter of Muenster, Texas. He is a 1995 graduate of Muenster High School, and a 2000 graduate of Texas Tech University with a Chemical Engineering degree. He is employed by X-Fab Texas, Inc. as a Process Engineer.

The maid of honor was Lindsay Vallaster, cousin of the bride, and the best man was Tom Dankesreiter, father of the groom. Bridesmaids were: Cheramie Dankesreiter, sister-in-law of the groom, Valerie Morgan, sister of the bride, and Dana Walterscheid, sister of the groom. Groomsmen were: Eric Dankesreiter, brother of the groom, Cameron Morgan, brother of the bride, and Cody Klement, friend of the couple. The flower girl was Lora Walterscheid, niece of the groom, and ring bearer was Benjamin Dankesreiter, nephew and godson of the groom.

Ushers were John Walterscheid, groom's brother-in-law, Duane Dankesreiter, groom's cousin, and John Morgan, bride's uncle. Altar servers were Anne and Sara Walterscheid, groom's nieces, and Jessica Hermes, groom's cousin. Scripture was read by Norman Butts, grandfather of the bride, and Emily Vallaster, cousin of the bride. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by the bride's grandmothers, Aileen Butts and Irene Morgan, and the groom's grandmother, Theresa Hermes. Eucharistic ministers were godparents of the bride, Iggy and Cecilia Archibeque, and John Walterscheid, groom's brother-in-law.

After enjoying a honeymoon to Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel, Mexico, the couple resides in Lubbock, Texas.
