Fifth confirmed case of West Nile in state hospitalized, recovering

Colorado has five confirmed cases of West Nile, the most recent being a a 40-year-old woman from Pueblo County.
The woman was hospitalized but is recovering, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. It is the second confirmed case in Pueblo County.
The other cases were in Weld, Jefferson and Otero counties. State health officials also are awaiting the results of blood tests in four suspect cases.
