JOHN AINSWORTH

John Ainsworth, born in Indianapolis, Indiana May 20th. 1955, died in Colorado Springs, August 14, 2003, of Lymphatic Cancer. He lived and worked in Woodland Park / Colorado Springs area for the past 25 years. John apprenticed in the carpenters' Union in Illinois. He loved the mountain region and built a house in Douglas County.

He is survived by his parents, Cameron & Jeanette Ainsworth of Redwood City, California, and by an Aunt and cousins in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

JENNIFER COOPER MURPHY

Jennifer Cooper Murphy, 43, formerly of Colorado Springs, died of cancer in Springfield, VA, on August 15, 2003. She was the daughter of Judy Cooper, Colorado Springs, and Bryan Cooper, deceased.

Jennifer is survived by her devoted husband of 21 years, Terence Murphy and daughters Molly, Calleghan, Cara, and son Will, siblings Stephanie Duffy, Suzanne Cooper, Dan Cooper and Amy Bowers.

Jennifer graduated from Doherty High School in 1978, and attended CSU. Her passions in life were her husband, children, family and her faith. Her love of quilting led to many close relationships and employment at G Street Fabrics in Centreville, VA.

Robert L. "Duck" De Foor

Robert L. De Foor, of Security CO., passed away on Aug 21, 2003. He was 70 years old. He was born to Daisy Curry and Oscar De Foor, both whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth, two sons, Ralph "Benny" and Rae and one daughter, Fay. His daughter, Teena Anderson, preceded him in death. Three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, eight nephews, fourteen nieces, 30 grand nieces and nephews also survive him.

He was raised in Key West, Florida where he lived off and on throughout his life. He joined the Navy in the 1950's. He worked as a typesetter for newspapers and his hobby was electronics.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm -7:00 Tuesday, Aug 26, 2003 at Dove Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 South Hwy 85/87, Fountain, CO.

He was truly loved and will be dearly missed.

ANTHONY U. STEIERT

Lieutenant Colonel USAF (Retired)

Lt. Col. Anthony U. Steiert, 87, of Colorado Springs, Colorado died Saturday, August 16, 2003 at Pikes Peak Hospice in Colorado Springs.

Lt. Col. Steiert was born on December 18, 1915 to Louis A. and Francis M. Steiert. He married Myrtle Littlejohn of Grand Forks, North Dakota on August 25, 1975. Myrt survives and lives in Colorado Springs.

Tony attended Subiaco Seminary School in Subiaco, Arkansas. He was a member of Toastmasters International and the Holy Trinity Church Choir in Colorado Springs. He was employed by the U.S. Army Communications Electronic Command of Ft. Monmoth, New Jersey. He was involved in Logistics Assistance world wide in the 1960's and the 1970's.

He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Anne Baumhardt of Amarillo, Texas and his brother, Peter Steiert of Hart, Texas. Additional surviving family members include Patrick Steiert of the U.S. Air Force; Jim Steiert of Hereford, Texas; Mary Lou Steuben of Amarillo; Louis Baumhardt of Amarillo; Charlotte Schloeman of Potosi, Missouri; Lou Ann Baumhardt of Amarillo; Lisa Baumhardt of Amarillo and four nieces.
