Ted is also survived by his brothers; Harley Alsup of Chattanooga TN, Bernie Alsup, Rotan TX, Johnnie Ballard, Camp Springs, TX, Lester Mullins, Roaring Springs TX and Bobby Mullins, Plainville TX, several nieces and a long list of true and loyal friends.

Ted recently celebrated 18 years of employment at The Broadmoor where he worked as a painter. He considered his co-workers his family and he loved and cared for them all.

His love of Pike's Peak of which he often claimed as his mountain is what drew him to Colorado Springs 20 years ago, but it was the love of family and friends that kept him here. Despite the aggressive treatment Ted underwent the last 1 1/2 years he lived life fully and always had a positive attitude. He visited family and friends as long as possible making it his priority.

At Ted's request he asked that the family not have a memorial service. He'd much rather we "Make it a good day!"

Memorial contributions can be made in his name to Barr Camp Foundation, c/o Bill Slaughter, 245 Raven Hills Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80919; or to Bar Trail in Ted's name P.O. Box 2494, Colorado Springs, CO 80901; or to Pikes Peak Hospice, 825 E. Pikes Peak Avenue, Suite 600, Colorado Springs, CO 80903
