Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, at First Lutheran Church. Burial will be Friday in Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the memorial fund of First Lutheran, 1515 N. Cascade Ave., 632-8836.

ANITA H. BRITTAN Born Oct. 21, 1922. Died Sept. 5, 2003. Registered nurse, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by her husband, Allen; three sons, Allen "Al" Jr., Clark and Dale. Mission Crematory.

DR. DWIGHT C. DAWSON Born May 31, 1920. Died Aug. 17, 2003. Family physician, 49-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by his wife Doris; four sons, Stuart, Philip, Keith and Cas; and a daughter, Laurie. Memorial services, 3 p.m. Sept. 27, Broadmoor Community Church, 315 Lake Ave. Neptune Society.

LILLIAN WALBERG HANDKE Born Nov. 12, 1914. Died Sept. 3, 2003. College professor, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by her husband, A. LEONA L. McCANN Born April 2, 1921. Died Sept. 6, 2003. Librarian, seven-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by a son, Laird Lien; a daughter, Jacqueline Langlois and Denise Distel.
