JAMES G. HICKMAN

James G. Hickman, son of George and Glennis Hickman, succumbed to cancer on the morning of November 2, 2003.

James, at 38 years of age, now resides in the hearts of all those who love him, especially his wife, Elizabeth, his children, Ashley (17), Emily (13), Colby (11), Ariana (5), and Eli (3); his mother Glennis; sister Rhonda; and brothers Phillip and Justin.

It is with the deepest sorrow that we acknowledge the loss of his physical presence, and the strength, comfort, and security it provided. It is with profound joy that we embrace with our hearts, the love, compassion, honor and decency that so characterize his spirit. He will remain with us always.

James was a master mechanic at Ed Bozarth Oldsmobile in Colorado Springs, as well as a voluntary mechanic for just about everybody who knew him. He was selfless almost to a fault, and spent much of his free time helping others. But above all else, he was a devoted and natural father, happiest and most comfortable when surrounded by his wife and children. With his passing, the world has lost one of its best.

A memorial service will be held at Pulpit Rock Church, 301 Austin Bluffs Parkway, at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 7.

In lieu of flowers, a tax deductible donation may be made to the children's education fund. Please make checks payable to: The New Horizons Foundation. (Hickman Children Fund should be noted on the memo line.)
