WILLIAM S. WANNER JR.

February 15, 1941 - November 18, 2003

The eldest son in a military family, Bill spent his early years traveling abroad as an "Army Brat". He spent six years in the Air Force as an NCO after completing high school in Heidelberg, Germany. His civilian career began with Univac and RCA before joining Digital Equipment Corporation as a Quality Engineer.

He received his BA of Science in Business Management, MS and Organizational Leadership. Cumma Laude. Bill's passions included World War II history, firearms, modified street cars and Colorado off- roading in his blazer.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, LTC W.S. and Erma Grace Wanner; his wife Roswitha Wanner.

He is survived by four children- Kirsten Pulmonary, Jason Wanner, David W. Paris, Adrianne Davis; three siblings- Terry S. Wanner of Maryland, Leslie M. Pantera of Colorado, and Richard E. Wanner of Arizona; and six grandchildren. He leaves behind his beloved Judy Clayman Mitchell.

He will be loved, missed and remembered by his friends and family.

He did it his way!

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Mortuary Chapel.

SADIE C. TRUJILLO

Sadie C. Trujillo, 79, peacefully departed this life on November 20, 2003. Sadie was born on August 11, 1924 to Ben and Helena Salas in Watrous, NM, prior to her family moving to Trinidad, Colorado.

She is survived by one sister, Lucy Casias of Trinidad, Colorado, and five daughters; Patricia Briseno (Alvan), Barbara Trujillo, Shirley Trujillo, Regina DeMarco (Gary) and Sheila Rodriguez (Carlo); three grandchildren, Jackie Gonzales (Steve), Melissa Briseno, Aubriana Rodriguez and two great grandchildren, Aitana and Orion Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emilio Trujillo and one infant daughter; Jacqueline Trujillo.

In 1944, she was part of Company 1, 3rd Regiment, (first WAC Training at Fort Des Moines, IA) and served her country during World War II while stationed at Los Alamos, New Mexico. She was a Voluntary Officer at the American Ex-Prisoners of War, Rocky Mountain Chapter, serving as the Historian at the time of her death.

Sadie enjoyed a professional career in both retail and in the manufacturing industries before her retirement. She was an outstanding mother to her children, a loyal wife for 57 years, and a dear companion to countless relatives and friends.

She will be remembered for her love of life, her joy in adventure and travel, her talent as an artist, her gift of seeing beauty in everything that life offered and most of all, her belief in a kind and generous God.

The family would like to recognize the outstanding staff at Memorial Hospital, the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, Pikes Peak Hospice and Memorial Gardens.

Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at 1:00 p.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3122 Poinsetta Drive, Colorado Springs, CO, 80907 with a Celebration of Life gathering and early dinner to follow.

RICHARD DWIGHT MEURER Born Sept. 16, 1960. Died Nov. 27, 2003. Reconditioning manager, lifelong resident. Survived by his wife, Kathleen Ann; a son, Brett K. Visitation, 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nolan Funeral Home Chapel, with services to follow at 2 p.m.

EVELYN MARIE PERRY Born July 4, 1938. Died Nov. 29, 2003. Flight attendant, 31-year Colorado Springs resident. Survived by her husband, Rodney M.; three sons, Keith, Stephen and Tad; two daughters, Nancy Glass and Paige Townsend. Visitation, 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nolan Funeral Home. Services, 11 a.m. Friday, Ascension Lutheran Church, 2505 N. Circle Drive. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery.

JOSEPH FLOYD SWAFFORD Born Nov. 9, 1981. Died Nov. 27, 2003. College student, lifelong resident. Survived by his parents, Richard and Julie; a brother, James. Services, 4 p.m. today, Nolan Funeral Home.
