All kinds are accepted at the United Court. Some guys bounce around the room like "Just Jack" stereotypes. Outgoing emperor James Gideon is here with his wife and 14-month-old son and celebrates the final moments of his reign with MercyMe's song "I Can Only Imagine" about being in the presence of Jesus.

The 29th coronation comes to a close as the torch is passed to a new pair of monarchs. The United Court's royal line will continue into its 30th year.

Incoming empress Dorian Lord ends the night on a kneeling pillow, being anointed with oils along with new emperor Marc Callan. They are being blessed for another year of fund raising and fellowship.

Meanwhile, in the men's bathroom, a hotel guest eyes a court member with curiosity.

"What's the occasion?"

The man pauses as he dries his hands, measuring a safe response.

"We're having a ball."
