If you can't get enough of the beefed-up rock of Martini Shot, the band welcomes you to help yourself to another night in the groove. Those who haven't seen the local rockers will enjoy their progressive sound and the horn section.

Mother Funk Junction

Ancient Mariner

962 Manitou Ave., Manitou Springs, 9 p.m. today, free, 685-5503

Made up of former members of the Old Dog Band, Redraw The Farm and Uversa, this local outfit combines funk, Motown and R&B into a hardhitting jam.

-itis

George's Union Station

2419 N. Union Blvd., 9:30 p.m. today, $10-$12, 227-7168

Local band -itis has been around for 10 years. But unlike most rockers, whose hardedged message dulls with time, -itis is as sharp- witted as ever.

Whether they're singing originals or murdering someone else's music a la Weird Al Yankovic, these guys are funny. Really funny. And even funnier after a few glasses of champagne.

Jamaican Eclipse

Jose Muldoons

222 N. Tejon St., 9:30 p.m. today, free, 636-2311

This Colorado Springs reggae band formed in 1986. Classically- trained Kenny Youngblood, the band's singer and keyboard player, says he didn't expect to find his calling in reggae, but he grew to love the music for its laid-back feel and powerful messages. The band plays originals and covers.

Ginger's Hotter

Rum Bay
