The following is a list of local winners in the Dino Art 2008 poster contest sponsored by Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center in Woodland Park. Winning entries will travel with the Embedded Exhibitions traveling exhibition "Savage Ancient Seas."
High school and adult division: Nina Peterson, second, Air Academy High School; Randy Ross, third, adult from Colorado Springs; Lesley Johnson, honorable mention, adult from Colorado Springs.
Grades 6-8 division: Sierra Case, second, Sabin Middle School; Kyra Griswold, District 49 home school; Colin King, honorable mention, Evangelical Christian Academy.
