NASA dealys plans to relaunch space shuttle program
New Orleans CityBusiness, Oct 6, 2003 by Staff
NASA has delayed its planned space shuttle program relaunch. NASA postponed the original target window of March to April 2004 to mid- summer and is working to finalize the date. The postponements could lead to layoffs at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Michoud Operations due to a slowdown in production of the shuttle's external fuel tanks. NASA is still finalizing a redesign of the tank.
