The Port of New Orleans saw one of its largest shipments of project cargo this week. More than 6,000 tons and 2,000 pieces of coal mining equipment was loaded onto the MV Enchanter at the Jourdan Road Wharf. The project, ongoing since May, has involved the disassembly and transport of a $50 million dragline, used in mining, from central Ohio to a coal mine in Queensland, Australia.

Bellville Rodair International Inc., an international project forwarding company with its U.S. headquarters based in Mountainside, N.J., coordinated the move.
