Baton Rouge-based Shaw Group Inc. awarded $8M contract

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, awarded Shaw Group Inc. subsidiary Shaw Infrastructure Inc. an $8 million contract to provide environmental management services at various U.S. Navy and Marine Corps installations. Shaw will begin work on the project April 1.
The work includes environmental services ranging from hazardous waste management and oil and industrial waste treatment to laboratory services, assessment and cleanup of contaminated sites, and specialized projects in support of San Diego-area Navy and Marine Corps installations as well as Navy ships. Contract extensions could bring the maximum contract value to $67 million.
