J. Ray McDermott wins ExxonMobil's 2004 Contractor of the Year Award

The Middle East fabrication operation of McDermott International Inc. subsidiary J. Ray McDermott won ExxonMobil Development Company's Contractor of the Year Award for 2004 for safety performance on the RasGas Offshore Expansion Project and Qatargas Project in the United Arab Emirates. ExxonMobil is a major shareholder in the projects.
In April, J. Ray completed four years and 5.4 million man hours on the RasGas Offshore Expansion Project without a lost-time incident and a year without a lost-time incident since the start of the Qatargas project.
