Phoenix reaches out with Katrina benefit

Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra will perform at Back to Bourbon Street: A Benefit for Hurricane Katrina Victims at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix at 8 p.m. Saturday to benefit musicians affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Former Vice President Dan Quayle and Phoenix business leader Dale Jensen, managing partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks and partner of the Phoenix Suns, are concert co-chairmen. Comedian Joe Piscopo will also perform at the event. Proceeds will benefit the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, MusiCares Hurricane Relief Fund and Rosie's House, a tuition-free children's music academy in Phoenix.Tickets start at $37 and are available through Ticketmaster.
