Louisiana Department of Transportation announces holiday road

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is advising motorists of upcoming work schedules for interstates and major roads for Memorial Day weekend.
In the New Orleans area, all lanes of interstates 310, 510 and 610 will remain open through the three-day weekend. In addition, all lanes of I-10 will remain open except for possible periodic closures of one lane of the twin-span bridge from Slidell.
DOTD Secretary Johnny Bradberry uges motorists to use extra caution when traveling during the holiday weekend, especially at rail crossings.
