Fulton Street block party to aid N.O. children

The opening of Ruth's Chris Steak House on Fulton Street will be celebrated from 6 to 10 p.m. May 16 with a block party benefiting the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation, a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of New Orleans-area children.
The event will feature food from Fulton Street restaurants including Ruth's Chris, Gordon Biersch, Grand Isle and Ernst Cafe.
Music will be provided by Rockin Dopsie, The Top Cats and One A- Chord.
Tickets are $50 and available through Ticketmaster.
