Loyola University New Orleans ranks on U.S. News report

Loyola University New Orleans is fifth among "master's universities" in the South, according to U.S. News & World Report's America's Best Colleges 2009 report.
Master's universities offer a full range of undergrad programs and some master's programs but few doctoral programs, according to U.S. News' Web site.
It is the second year in a row Loyola has risen in the ranks, from sixth last year and seventh in 2006.
Loyola also rose to first place in U.S. News' "Great Schools, Great Prices" rankings. Loyola ranked seventh in the same category last year.
U.S. News will publish the rankings in an issue that hits newsstands Monday.
