Slidell permit office to close for FEMA meeting

The Slidell office of the St. Tammany Parish Department of Permits will close at noon Oct. 22 for a Federal Emergency Management Agency flood map meeting.
Closing the office will allow the entire office staff to assist the public in viewing the new maps for St. Tammany, parish officials said.
Anyone needing a permit or permit information during this time cam go to the permit office on Koop Drive in Mandeville, in the St. Tammany Parish Administrative Complex.
