New Orleans-based iSeatz expands travel services to include rail

New Orleans-based iSeatz has expanded its online travel services beyond airline to include rail travel through Amtrak.
"Amtrak invested in a technology solution that complements its core business, strengthens its level of customer service and provides a source of added revenue," said iSeatz founder and CEO Kenneth Purcell. "We are pleased to help Amtrak to enhance the overall travel experience and we look forward to supporting the successful launch of Amtrak.com."
Amtrak.com features iSeatz OneView, which synchronizes a passenger's multiple reservations and cancellations in real time and enables passengers to manage all of the components of their trip, online and offline.
Customers on Amtrak.com will be able to choose from thousands of hotels, book car rentals at or within 1 mile of 70 major stations and purchase tickets to shows, theater, sightseeing tours and other special events.
