Average gas price slips in N.O.

City gas prices eased again overnight, declining from an average $2.582 per gallon of regular grade Tuesday to $2.578 today, according to AAA.
A month ago, city drivers were paying an average $2.31 per gallon. A year ago, the average price stood at $3.955.
The statewide average is $2.582. The national average is $2.676.
