Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin
Andrea Beers joins the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin as director of career development. She comes to the AGC with considerable experience in developing and administering training programs. Most recently, she was a
technical training supervisor with Lands' End. Prior to Lands' End, she worked as a senior trainer for Kinko's Inc.
ARCADIS
ARCADIS announced that Joan E.L. Giuliani has joined its Milwaukee office as an environmental engineer. She is a recent graduate of Michigan Technological University with a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering. ARCADIS is a service provider, active in the fields of infrastructure, buildings, environment and communications.
Building Service Inc.
Mike Merten has joined Building Service Inc., Milwaukee, as an account executive. He has previous sales experience in the software industry.
J.H. Findorff & Son Inc.
J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. has added three new people to its staff in Milwaukee:
* Stasia Seamars, a 2001 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Architecture, began at Findorff in April and will assist in its Estimating Department. Seamars has 20 years of experience in the health-care industry and will continue on in her full-time role as registered nurse for Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital.
* Starting as project manager assistant is Cory Miller, who started at Findorff June 6. Miller is a 2002 graduate of UW- Platteville, where he majored in building and construction management.
* Joining Findorff's field staff is Cliff Gorn, who has almost 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Gorn joins Findorff as a project superintendent and has supervised an array of retail, health-care and educational structures.
John Lamm of Jackson Inc.
John Lamm of Jackson Inc. announced it was awarded the No Vehicle Accidents Award and No Lost Time Accidents Award by the Associated Landscape Contractors of American and CAN Insurance.
John Lamm of Jackson Inc. is a design/build landscape contractor.
Kahler Slater Architects
Rhiannon Blawat joined Kahler Slater Architects as accounting manager, Charles Haas joined the firm as architectural student intern and Juli Beattie joined the firm's Madison office as administrative coordinator.
Blawat has two years professional accounting experience from Arthur Andersen LLP, where she worked on the audit staff in the firm's Assurance and Business Advisory Department. Blawat graduated from Winona State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Haas will intern this summer at Kahler Slater's Venture Architects office. He has an undergraduate degree in civil and environmental engineering from Villanova University, and he is currently pursuing a master of architecture degree at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.
Beattie has five years experience in office management. Most recently she was a project manager for corporate purchasing at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco and an executive secretary at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Beattie attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
Munson Inc.
Munson Inc., Glendale, has added John Bogues as a sales consultant for its Slurry Seal Division. He has 12 years experience in outside sales and scheduling in the commercial industry.
