Alert Reader of Auckland finds "an interesting similarity" between Consortium's print ads for Oxfam (which ran in the last quarter of 2005) and Saatchi & Saatchi's work for Western Springs Speedway (which ran 12 months earlier).

Let's count the similarities:

1. Both campaigns play on the 'arrogant rich' theme.

2. Both use black humour with great effect.

3. The landscape print format.

OK, they are similar. But, given the originality of the stinging copy in both, we're inclined to mutter, 'So what?'
