A full house at the SkyCity Convention Centre in October saw Ogilvy taste its first major awards success (Best in Show for the brilliant campaign that transformed Rabobank from rustic rube to city slicker).

Saatchi, deservedly, took out the Agency Effectiveness gong for best overall performance, while Clemenger would be very pleased with its Grand Effie for Sustained Success for LTNZ's landmark road safety campaign.

The Gold Effies went to DraftFCB, Lowe Rivet and Publicis Mojo. Absent from the podium, sadly, were the indie shops. AdMedia's camera was there ...
