Procrastinator plug

Malaysian Business,  Nov 16, 2007  by Reviewed by Charles Raj

ARE YOU one of those who can't get started on a programme on how to reach your goals? Well, then, you should consider this easy-to- follow book called Two Weeks to a Breakthrough.

Another self-improvement book, it essentially tells you how you can zoom towards your goal in 14 days or less. Sounds easy, so why not give it a try?

What makes it different from other self-help books is that it has step- by-step instructions and examples that make it easy to understand your goals, including how to overcome obstacles.

Author Lisa Haneberg takes you through some techniques that you can repeat everyday and other techniques that you can try on particular days. She breaks up the breakthrough programme into four categories, namely, daily practice, focusing practice, action practice and obliterating resistance.

Haneberg is no stranger to writing such books, having authored five other books. She is a management trainer, specialising in manager and leader development and effectiveness.

She firmly believes in the big power of small things. She says small becomes big and small actions can move mountains and shift realities. It is, after all, the small things that can lead to fantastic results.

The good thing about Haneberg's action plan is that it seems practical. So, don't worry if you are one of those stubborn procrastinators or the busy executive whose tasks never seem to end.

The challenge, however, is for you to put your mind to it and get started on the 14-day plan. Who knows, like many of the testimonies contained in the book, it might also change your life?
