Expanded Line of Puma Tractors

Case IH adds four models to its Puma tractor offering. Ranging from 95 hp to 135 hp, the new tractors are built on a shorter wheelbase for greater all-around utility. Powered by Tier 3 Case IH 6.75-liter engines, these workhorses have a 30-hp power boost. The 18F/6R Power Shift transmission is standard, as well as the Auto- Shift system. There are two additional transmission options. An updated joystick controls accessories hooked to the front or rear hydraulics. A first-ever option, Turn Assist steering, accelerates turning and allows full left- or right-hand turns by moving the steering wheel just 10[degrees]. Big Productivity in Small Packages

Massey Ferguson's Hesston 1700 Series large round balers now includes the 1746 and 1756 models. Built for small- to mid-sized hay operations, these balers have the same dependability and efficiency as larger units. The Model 1746 produces a 4x6 bale and should be paired with at least a 55-hp tractor. The Model 1756 produces a 5x6 bale and requires at least a 72-hp tractor. Standard features include Auto-Tie with automatic, semi-automatic and manual tie modes, bale tension and density control, wide 7" bale-forming belts and an in-cab monitor. Spring tension guides bale core formation with the hydraulic system completing the bale building. Options include mesh wrap and a hydraulic kicker to move the bale away from the rear gate. High-Capacity Air Seeder

Building on the features of other 6000 Series Air Seeders, the Bourgault 6700ST Air Seeder increases on-board capacity to 700 bu. with four internal tanks and three hoppers (previous models have two hoppers). The running gear is designed for low pounds per square inch (psi); a fully loaded tank at the required pressure is 16 psi for the front and 18 psi for the rear. The 6700ST has a wagon-style front axle steering system and the EZ-Hitch found on other 6000 Series models. The load/unload conveyor provides rates of 110 bu. per minute and can be operated with a wireless remote control.
