Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance to Foray into Healthcare Business

Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance has announced that it will enter the healthcare business by focusing on medical care support and life support services.
The company will initially promote its proprietary disease prevention service beginning this fall. It also plans to establish an affiliated healthcare service company in early fiscal 2005 which will begin its operation in earnest from fiscal 2007.
The aim of business expansion is to increase its corporate social responsibility by offering new social infrastructure as well as demonstrating its expertise in life insurance marketing.
