Citrix Systems Japan Closes Flex Software License Contract with

Citrix Systems Japan has announced that the company has signed with Hitachi (TSE: 6501) its first domestic flex software license contract that enables Hitachi to purchase globally Citrix's products over multiple years.
This contract allows Hitachi group companies both in and outside Japan to purchase Citrix's access infrastructure product Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite over the next two years.
Hitachi has installed at 400 domestic companies software for tax practices based on a server base computing environment, which uses Citrix's MetalFrame Presentation Server. The contract covers all four products offered in Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite, which enables users to create a thin client environment.
