Adobe System Incorporated and NTT DoCoMo announced an agreement for DoCoMo to adopt the Adobe Reader LE software for its 3G FOMA handsets on March 9. Utilizing this technology, i-mode users will be able to view and interact with a wide range of new business and entertainment content in the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).

This version of Adobe Reader co-developed by Access, a Japanese wireless browser developer, enables FOMA users to quickly navigate from a PDF document to visit a Web site, send e-mail to a contact or dial a phone number.

Adobe Reader LE also includes common features such as text search and page layout rotation for ease of small-screen navigation and viewing.
