Takeda Pharmaceutical, Wyeth Launches ENBREL Anti-rheumatic Agent

Takeda Pharmaceutical (TSE: 4502) and Wyeth jointly announced on March 29 that they will begin distributing ENBREL, an injection solution for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), on March 30.
ENBREL, which is currently approved in over 70 countries worldwide, is the only fully human anti-TNF receptor used as monotherapy for RA patients.
The two companies will jointly promote the agent, and conduct a post-marketing surveillance study.
