NTT DoCoMo Prototypes Connect-free Battery Charger

Tokyo, July 7, 2005 - (JCN) - NTT DoCoMo (TSE: 9437) announced on July 6 that it has developed a prototype connect-free battery charger for FOMA cellphones in collaboration with Panasonic Mobile Communications.
When commercialized, the battery charger will enable users to charge a FOMA handset battery only by placing the handset on it.
The prototype will be shown at Wireless Japan 2005, which will be held in Tokyo Big Sight from July 13 to 15.
