Tokyo, Aug 9, 2005 - (JCN) - IMS Japan and ACNielsen Japan jointly announced on August 8 that the two companies have launched OTC Retail Dynamics, a market analysis tool designed for over-the-counter (OTC) drugs.
By comprehensively analyzing distribution data, both sell-in (from wholesalers to retailers) and sell-out (from retailers to consumers) information, the new tool enables users to grasp the current market trends including inventory trends and rejection rates.
This is the first such solution that has targeted the Japanese OTC market.
