Nippon Care Supply, Yokohama City University Jointly Develop Home

Tokyo, Dec 15, 2005 - (JCN) - Nippon Care Supply has entered into a joint research and development agreement with Yokohama City University. Under the agreement, the two partners will strive to develop a support system for home healthcare management for lifestyle- related diseases using the Internet.
Specifically, the new system will collect vital data including blood pressure and weight, and automatically forward it to the server managed by the company. Then the university will analyze the collected data and provide advice and feedback to the subjects.
The two partners will jointly conduct a verification experiment with the system thruogh December 2006 while discussing prospects for commercialization.
