Tokyo, May 19, 2006 - (JCN) - Sysmex announced on May 18 that will begin marketing the pocH-100iV Diff, a multiple automated hematology analyzer for veterinary use, in May.

The pocH-100iV Diff analyzer can measure the total number of white blood cells, red blood cells and blood platelets while classifying white blood cells.

The product is effective in early diagnosis of allergies, parasitic diseases and infections in animals. The compact device with an A3 footprint thoroughly supports practice at veterinary clinics.

Sysmex plans to market it not only in Japan but also overseas, particularly, in China, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The company aims to sell 1,500 units over the next three years in the world.
